Ellie Beauty ("we", "us") is a beauty studio based in Bowen Hills, Brisbane QLD 4006. We respect your privacy and only collect the personal information needed to confirm appointments and respond to enquiries.

What we collect

• Booking requests:name, phone number, the service you're interested in, your preferred time and any notes you provide.
• Comments & reviews: the name and rating you submit, plus the body of your comment.
• Technical data: a salted hash of your IP address and your browser user agent, used to detect spam and abuse. We do not store your raw IP address.

How we use it

• To call or message you back about your booking.
• To moderate and display public comments after approval.
• To prevent spam, abuse and fraudulent submissions.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers to run the site (hosting, database, spam protection, Google Reviews API). These providers process data only on our instructions.

Retention

Booking requests are kept for up to 24 months for service follow-up and record keeping. Approved comments are retained while the service exists. You can request deletion of your information at any time by emailing hello@elliebeauty.com.au.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. We aim to respond within 30 days.
